Whether you have the slightest idea what I am talking about or not, I will explain in a simple, slightly less confusing manner.
LOSING YOUR SKATES SUCKS!!
Even as I am writing this I am coming down from a three day no skate session and had the urge to go rolling before I started writing. So I made some phone calls to the local crew and here are the various replies:
1) No, I am drinking beer at work, I will call you later.
2) No, I am sitting in traffic, and later it's -3degrees Celsius.
Option 1 is understandable, having alcohol on the boss's expense can absolutely never be a terrible thing to do.
Option 2 just sucks. I hate traffic. Ask the person who gave me the very assuring NO on Option 1,Mr. Grizz Mcbear. Sorry Mr H.E.
I then opted to go alone, but was informed by our local skate park that they close at 6pm. Must I remind you that this is a Friday, and the dogs are wanting out. (Oh I watched The Hangover, he he)
Anyways, so I was left to sit back in my chair with my thoughts and outrages to be put down once and for all. No exercise is to be had it seems when the weather-man and the barman are having a dispute on the temperature.
So. As for the predicament that I was left in a few months ago, read here:
AI JAAI JAAI ,
I am very glad to announce that I am back up and rolling. It is a wonderful stress reliever even at my age (I be considered an OG, FYI) and the fact that our numbers are steadily growing daily just makes the experience a more pleasant one each and every session.
One thing I swore I would do before my new skates would be ruined in the first 32.5 seconds of me having them on (and I actually think it took 20s) is that I would take some snaps of them for my grand children (ha ha, shame) to gawk at one day. So ladies and gentlemen, please do welcome on page, my brand new Remz OS2's with the Trust Liner. Olè !

P.S. High Fives Mrs. Kapastin!
High five back at ya! Great photos :)
